Approximately 70 + members of the public enjoyed a morning of; raffle for the Royal British Legion (raising £217 + table donations £60.62), a military quiz, and sing along sessions of the era lead by Marilyn and Pat. A 2 minutes silence and Last Post, was followed by cutting of a ceremony cake by Council Chairperson Philippa and cake-maker, WI Member Alison, then distributed to all. The stunning poppy tableau, also had its first public viewing. The event closed with the National Anthem.
Thanks are extended to all volunteers and helpers, from Capel Cares and Parish Council, in arranging the event.
